First event, our car club's Christmas party 4
Dec 2005, and she is already catching attention.
|

The car club wanted to see everythingthat we had worked so hard on.
|

Best looking car that came to the Christmas Party.
|

Her first official car show, 6 May 2006, Fair
Oaks Baptist Church. Yes, Kurt's '56 Wagon was there also.
|

Even with a few of the details missing, Betsy
shines right alongside the others.
|

Betsy was in good company for this show.
|

A trunk full of documentation. Yet it wasn't enough
to win a trophy.
|

In 2006, a request came into the car club to see
if anyone would chauffer using their classic Chevy a couple on their
50th wedding anniversary, preferably in a '56. Betsy took the job and
performed admirably. Kurt and Michelle joined in the fun by dressing
up as chauffers.
|

Everyone except for the couple knew what was going
to happen. Betsy drove down the street, shown here behind the couple,
and then continued straight on into the driveway. Surprised, the gentleman
didn't know what to make of the sudden arrival until his children explained
it to him. They had driven away from their wedding in a blue and white
'56 Chevy that they later sold.
|

It was really fun evening for everyone. The family
continued on to a private chartered dinner cruise. Betsy returned to
her cozy garage knowing the job was well done.
|

First appearance is at the Sully Plantation all
stock show, 18 June 2006.
|

Second appearance is at the Show and Shine show
at Old Dominion Speedway, 23 July 2006.
|

Half the field of cars at Show and Shine. Still
no trophy.
|

Shining beautifully!
