The window channel pits were treated with a chemical rust killer.
More pitting. A skim coat of putty should fix this, but sanding that curve is tricky.
The firewall was prepped for painting on the rotisserie so that all areas could be easily reached.
With the body upside down, the firewall holes were easier to tape off to prevent overspray on the sound and heat proofing.
The finished bottom side was taped off to prevent overspray.
The inside of the roof was taped off as well.
It's a unique way of reaching the inside of the firewall for taping off, but it worked.

Before we can spray the paint, we have to clean the garage and cover everything we don't want overspray on. We hung plastic sheeting around the perimeter to seal out the dust and seal in the overspray..
The frame was rolled outside and the engine protected.
Box fans provide for the positive ventilation to suck the overspray out as much as possible. The boards block most of the area so that the fans can work properly.
The body is ready for the first coat of sealer.
Black epoxy primer surfacer was sprayed for the seal coat.
The black really highlighted the damaged areas, like what was left of the crease.
Driver side taillight area damage.
The driver rear fender damage. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't into the rolled area of the wheel lip.
The passenger side dog leg area welds to dress out.
A small crease that showed up on the passenger rear fender.
Passenger taillight has some small dents.
Passenger rear fender. Most of the damaged area was metal worked out, but there is still some shallow dressing out to do.
The small dents in the roof.
The lead seam will take some minor dressing out as well.
More damage on the roof. This is near a brace area.
The driver side rear wheelwell welds. This will take a lot of dressing out.
The passenger wheelwell isn't quite as bad as the driver side.
The next step would be to remate the body to the frame and check the alignment of the various panels. If things don't fit right, we will need to correct these before we continue. The doors were also stripped of paint so that we could assess the hours/days/weeks/months of body work ahead of us.
