Ready to go down the track for the first time at Old Dominion Speedway
and she is calm. However, after the thrill of the pass and beating the
competition, excitement made her bouncy.
Her first pass of the evening against a friend's '78 Olds. The timer
shows her slower reaction time. Timeslip said 55.4 MPH 12.6 seconds
in the 1/8 mile.
December 2009 saw record snowfall. Poor Pepe was buried.
Snowblowers had problems. We resorted to good old fashioned shoveling
to clear the driveway. It took a few hours, but it worked.
The snow had packed into the grill of the Ranger so that when it was
finally rolled backwards, you could see the grill in the snow. Ok, I
know, not a picture of the truck, but a cool photo.
