1986 Honda Rebel

My First Motorcycle

Picture of Rebel taken 19 May 2019

This 1986 Honda Rebel 450 was purchased back in April 1991, so that I had my own bike to ride while Kurt rode his 1981 Honda CX 500. In nice weather, this was my daily commute vehicle for many years - if nice weather included everything from 45 - 95 degrees Faranheit. Honda only made this bike for two years, 1986 and 1987. It was a great beginner bike, but I still love to ride it! I love the cruiser look of the Harley's and this is as close as I could afford back then.

Tech Specs: 1986 Honda Rebel CMX 450, 2 cylinders, 4 speed with overdrive

Maybe someday my little Harley look-alike will turn into a real Harley.
