The deck lid is aluminum, as are the doors and the hood.

This car has been assembled from many doner cars over the last few years, between the person my Dad bought it from and my Dad.

There is an engine installed, but not running. We had to move the car by hand. Dad didn't have the steering linkage hooked up, so steering was fun. The trailer did most of the work for us.

Ensconced in the back garage.

Not all of these parts go to the Jag. Dad also sold us his MGB, so some of these parts are for the MG.

Boxes of parts, old and new, for both cars.

Somewhere in this mess are 4 new rims, new bumpers, complete new interior, and new wood dash.

This is the steering box and shaft for the Jag - and the extra front suspension for the MGB.

All the Jag parts neatly organized. The bins hold the Whitworth bolts and nuts that will be needed.

Alignment of the body segments is what we have been working on. There is a significant difference in the fit of quality parts versus the cheap knock-offs. Unfortunately, previous owners purchased what was available - the knock-offs. We discovered this as we tried to align the front clip and the doors with the rear clip and door striker plates. So we are trying to figure out exactly what needs to be adjusted. For now, the Jag waits while we work on the Wagon and the Ranchero.
