A Basket Case Project

Picture of Betsy taken 21 June 2010

This 1953 Jaguar XK 120 Drop Head Coupe was purchased from my Dad. He had purchased it from one of my coworkers as a project car during his retirement, then discovered that he didn't know British cars all that well. However, my Dad is the only perosn that I know who can talk a firm price of $1200 down to $900, including tons of new parts.

Tech Specs When Completed: 1953 Jaguar XK 120 DHC straight 6, double overhead cam, racing heads, 4 speed

As you can tell from the parts shots and the lack of pictures, we have a LLOONNGG way to go on this car. All the others keep coming first, so this is going to take a few years. My Dad had already done some of the body work, but the body alignment has to be redone after the move back here from Missouri.
