Reassembly

We started by reinstalling the lights. These are the cleaned up front running lights.
.

The rear filler panel and rear running lights were reinstalled. And here is where the photographer became too excited about getting her car back to stop long enough to take pictures.

Finally done and back on the driveway. I had 2 days left on the current inspection and a small gap between cloud cover to get a few pictures on the driveway. Due to the moisture in the air, my camera lens fogged over and blurred the first few shots. By the time that was resolved, the clouds had moved back in. The white swirls on the nose cone is a cloud in the sky.

The flash caused a bit of a glare due to the overcast and now shadowed driveway.

The top is tan canvas. We had installed the top last summer because the old one was cracked and I wanted to drive my convertible again without the hardtop. However, the tan did not go with the previous color. Black would have been better for that color. But as I didn't want black with the new Liquid Sapphire color, I went with the tan top. Everyone so far has agreed I made the right choice.

The chrome accents really make the dash look great. Once we get sunshine and I have time, I'll get a full interior shot again.

The cloud cover made the blue look very dark.

Rally Girl looks fantastic now!

Once the clouds drifted away, I was able to take better pictures. However, Ralley Girl now had a new pair of mascots.

If you look closely, there is an odd pattern reflected in the driver side. The Bronco is parked about 15 feet and is being reflected in Rally Girl's shiny finish!

The green motling on the hood is the trees overhead. Rally Girl is really smiling now, with her new shiny grill.

Our garage is about 25 feet away, yet you can see it clearly in the reflection on the rear fender.

More trees reflected on the trunk lid. I have to redo all of these pictures at some point when Rally Girl is parked where the reflections don't show. I also have to do the ruler test at some point. For now though, I just want to drive her.

I couldn't resist this picture of the trunk area, complete with a cloud reflection.

Rally Girl's new mascots, Stuart the Minion and Fluffy the Unicorn came out to see the cloud cover on the new paint.

While Fluffy likes the new color, Stuart is not impressed by the reflection. He agreed that the slight orange peel must go. The orange peel is very obvious in the fuel door, since clouds do not look like the exterior of a golf ball.
